Located over 1,000 miles off the coast of east Africa in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles offers year-round sailing, a bounty of watersports and plenty of opportunity for island hopping.
With a cruising ground boasting more than 100 islands to explore, make sure you experience the palm-fringed Anse Royale on Mahé, La Digue’s quiet Petite Anse beach and the black parrot on Praslin. Or discover the wonder of Bird Island’s dolphins and turtles, and Cousin Island’s nature reserve.

The Seychelles provide ideal year-round sailing and cruising grounds that offer protected anchorages. There are two distinct seasons:
May to September – This is the dry season and the cool, south-easterly tradewind blows between 10 and 20 knots, which is ideal for sailing
October to March – The north-westerly blows between 8 and 12 knots and there is more rainfall between November and April, peaking between December and February
Between the tradewinds in April/May and October/November, water temperatures can reach 30ºC with amazing visibility for snorkelling and diving.
You can fly with major carriers (Emirates, Etihad, British Airways and Air Seychelles) to Mahe airport (SEZ). There aren’t any direct flights, although British Airways is launching a direct route in March 2018.
Praslin is located 40km from Mahe and can be reached by a 15-minute Air Seychelles flight or a one-hour ferry journey.
