The Bay of Naples is suitable for sailors of all abilities. Passages between islands are mostly short and in Summer winds are a gentle 8 – 12 knots from the Northwest, with breezes from the South developing in the late afternoon. The tidal range is a gentle 1 – 2 ft.
Summer temperatures are 25 – 32 degrees centigrade.

Direct flights are available from the US to Naples, or connecting flights can be made through Milan.
