Anchorages are plentiful, especially around the island shores. The locals are friendly, helpful and respectful of both the sea and sailors. Begin you charter in La Trinite Sur Mer and have access to the spectacular Bay of Quiberon. The Bay of Quiberon is an amazing body of water, ideal for pleasant, safe family sailing. Sheltered from the swell from the west by the Peninsula of Quiberon, the bay provides perfect conditions for sailing throughout the year when weather conditions elsewhere may not allow it.
Winds tend to blow from the east averaging 15-25 knots. Navigation can be difficult due to numerous reefs. Best time to visit is between November and June.
There are several airports that service this region, flights will generally be via Paris. Alternatively you can access the area via ferry from Northern Spain.
