a) The period for which this contract was concluded may only be changed with the agreement of the lessor and to the extent of his possibilities. b) The rental amount will remain with the rental company whether or not the tenant has used the boat during the rental period, whatever the reason for this vacancy. c) Cancellation insurance can be taken out by the tenant for his benefit and at his own expense. A copy of this additional insurance contract can be sent to the tenant on simple request. d) Cancellation conditions: • More than 180 days before departure: refund of deposits paid less €200 for costs management of the lessor, it being specified that this is a conventional clause and not compensation flat rate. • 180 days and less: all deposits paid and/or due pursuant to article 1 above will be acquired from Alternative Sailing. e) If the delivered boat is not seaworthy, either due to lack of an essential safety element, either because it does not comply with the regulations and if the rental company is not able to offer a boat with the same number of berths within 48 hours, the tenant may terminate this contract and obtain restitution of the sums paid without being able to claim compensation for damages interests.
